The “Before Treatment” Pathway

Contact us by phone, email, or our online form to express your interest in Ezee Fertility treatment. Some times you know what you want - e.g. IUI with donor sperm. But if you are not sure, contact us and we will help you in your decision making process.

TWhether you qualify (or not) for Ezee IVF treatment can be checked is on our website, but if you don’t qualify, we are happy to answer any questions.
Ezee IUI has no special “qualifying criteria”.
Free Telephonic Consultation
We offer you a free and no-obligation telephonic consultation with our experienced clinicians (generally doctors) who will take relevant history give you a complete idea about the treatment you need.
After your telephonic consultation, we will write to you to summarise our discussion and confirm if you qualify for the Ezee Fertility treatment you have in mind.
Booking your Initial Consultation
After your enquiry, we will arrange an initial consultation with one of our experienced fertility specialists, either in person or via video call. This appointment is scheduled at your convenience. Zoom consultations can often be done later in the evening or even weekends. If it is a video consultation, then you have to arrange a visit to the clinic to get your scan and blood tests (AMH, Infection screening etc)
Initial Consultation
Fertility Assessment: During the consultation, the fertility specialist will review your medical history, conduct a basic fertility assessment, and discuss any previous treatments or attempts. We will also go over the IVF process, treatment options, and the suitability of Ezee IVF for your specific needs. We will also go over the risks and offer counselling once we know what your treatment will be.
Q&A Session: You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions regarding the process, costs, and expectations
Pre-Treatment Tests
Your ultra-sono scan and AMH will be performed during the first consultation and semen analysis (for male partners) to assess your fertility health. These tests ensure we tailor the treatment to your specific needs.
Discussing and finalizing Costs
A transparent breakdown of the costs involved will be provided (in writing), along with any available payment options or packages. A financial plan is agreed and signed by both - you and the centre.
Health Review
Based on the test results and discussion with you, our specialists will ensure you are medically ready to start the treatment process. This is more relevant when you are having Ezze IVF as it involves sedation which needs medical fitness

Once your test results are reviewed, our team will create a personalized treatment plan for you, outlining the timeline and next steps.

Finalize your treatment with an agreement and an initial deposit to secure your place on our schedule.
Consents

Informed Consent: You will receive detailed information about the fertility treatment process and sign a consent form acknowledging the treatment plan and potential risks.
Pre-Treatment Preparation
Medication Instruction: Our team will provide clear instructions on any pre-treatment medications and their use. You may receive medication to regulate your cycle before starting the full IVF (or other) treatment.
Confirmation of your treatment starting date

We will confirm the start date for your IVF treatment and ensure you have all the information needed for a smooth beginning.
We will also provide you a treatment plan and a treatment timetable (shared online) for you to refer to during the treatment.
Once these steps are complete, you’ll be ready to begin the IVF treatment cycle and take the next steps towards growing your family with Ezee IVF.
Here's a simplified overview of the actual IVF process. Before this, you will have already completed the pre-treatment steps.
The Treatment Pathway
Ovarian Stimulation
The first step starts on the first day of your period. We use hormone injections to stimulate multiple eggs forming in your ovaries. Your IUI treatment can be done without any ovarian stimulation medicines or just tablets (Letrozole or Clomiphene).
This phase lasts 12-14 days, with regular ultrasounds and blood tests to monitor progress.
Injections are of 2 types - one to stimulate the follicular growth and the other to stop you from ovulating prematurely.
Trigger Injection
When follicles are ready, a "trigger injection" is given to mature the eggs. Egg collection takes place 36 hours later.
IUI treatment also uses a trigger injection, albeit there is no egg collection after that. Just IUI which is done at the clinic, 24-28 hours after the trigger injection. So the following 3 steps are not relevant for IUI cycles.
Egg Collection & Sperm Preparation
A short procedure under sedation retrieves the eggs. Sperm (fresh or thawed) is prepared and the healthiest are selected for fertilization.
Fertilization & Embryo Development
Eggs and “prepared” sperm are mixed overnight, and we confirm fertilisation the following day.
If we need ICSI, then that happens later in the afternoon of egg collection. We still need to confirm fertilisation the following day.
The fertilized eggs (embryos) are monitored for the next 5 days.
Embryo Transfer
The best-quality embryo is transferred to the uterus. It is a quick, painless procedure and does not need sedation.
Additional viable embryos can be frozen for future use.
Luteal Phase Support

Hormonal support (usually progesterone) helps prepare the uterus for implantation of the embryo and it’s early weeks. We provide this supplementation using pessaries or injections for around 10 weeks of pregnancy, starting from the day of egg collection.

Luteal phase support is also give for IUI treatments.
Pregnancy Test
10-12 days after transfer, a blood test measures hCG levels to confirm pregnancy. If positive, an early pregnancy scan is scheduled.
If the result is negative, we will discuss your next steps.

After your IVF treatment and your pregnancy test, here’s what to expect depending on the result:
The “After-Treatment” Pathway
If the Pregnancy Test is Positive
We’ll notify you of the positive result and provide guidance for next steps. Your exciting journey has come to this wonderful stage.
Progesterone Levels
We check your progesterone levels using the same sample from your pregnancy test to ensure it’s adequate.
Repeat hCG Test
A follow-up blood test may be needed to confirm rising hCG levels, especially if initial levels are low or there’s a history of ectopic pregnancy.
Early Pregnancy Scan
Around 6-8 weeks, you'll have an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy and check for a heartbeat.
Referral to Obstetric Care
After a positive scan, you’ll be referred to your GP for antenatal care. “Ezee Fertility” will discharge you but remain available for support.
Ongoing Support
We are always there to share your exciting progress as the pregnancy continues. We enjoy your pregnancy journey as well, after all we started it together!
If you have frozen embryos, we’ll discuss future family planning when you're ready.
If the Pregnancy Test is Negative
Results Discussion
A follow-up consultation will be arranged to explain the outcome and discuss potential next steps.
Emotional Support
We understand a negative result can be distressing, and offer emotional support, including counseling referrals.
Follow-up Care
Additional tests may be suggested to understand why the treatment didn’t succeed. Your period should start within 1-2 weeks after stopping medication.
Next Steps
We’ll help you decide on future options such as another IVF cycle, using frozen embryos, or exploring alternative treatments.
